The Brooks Ghost 17 is a neutral running shoe designed to offer soft cushioning and a balanced running experience. With this version, Brooks introduces DNA LOFT v3 foam to this model for the first time, improving comfort and softness without sacrificing responsiveness.

It's a versatile shoe, designed for runners seeking a soft feel underfoot, whether for daily training or long runs. It maintains the classic Ghost series identity: reliability, a comfortable fit, and good durability.

Ideal for neutral or orthotic runners, light to medium weight (up to 85-90 kg), from beginners to experienced.

Recommended for daily training, long runs, long walks.

Medium to easy paces (4:45 – 6:30 min/km).

Recommended distances: From 5 km to marathon. Ideal for medium and long distances due to its comfort and protection.

Engineered Air Mesh upper, soft, breathable, and flexible. 3D printed reinforcements provide structure without added weight or seams. Comfortable fit with good midfoot support and ample room in the toe box.

Padded, with a feeling of enveloping comfort without generating pressure.

Incorporation of DNA LOFT v3 (nitrogen-infused) in the midsole, a lighter, softer, and more responsive foam than its predecessor. A highly cushioned feel with a smooth transition thanks to the segmented design.

It does not have a plate, but it has a slight curve (rocker) that improves the heel-to-toe transition.

Durable carbon rubber outsole. Segmented pattern on the rear and forefoot for improved traction and flexibility.

Efficient traction on dry asphalt, sidewalks, and hard-packed roads. Not designed for trails or very rough terrain. High durability, with good performance after hundreds of kilometers.
