Brooks Ghost 18 Grey

The Brooks Ghost 18 are daily training shoes designed to offer a balanced combination of cushioning, comfort, and stability. They maintain the essence of one of Brooks' most popular lines, with a soft, fluid, and very reliable ride for accumulating miles whether running or walking.

They are especially recommended for neutral runners of light, medium, or even heavy weight who are looking for a comfortable shoe for regular training. They perform particularly well on easy runs, recovery workouts, and long runs at calm or moderate paces. Their ideal terrain is asphalt and compacted trails, where they can perform over any distance, from short sessions to marathons.

The upper has received the biggest update in this version. It incorporates a new, more breathable and adaptable Air Mesh technical mesh, accompanied by a flat knit tongue with more padding and a redesigned collar that improves overall comfort. The fit maintains the classic character of the Ghost, with good midfoot support and enough space in the toe area for long training sessions.

The midsole continues to rely on DNA Loft v3 foam with injected nitrogen, one of Brooks' most balanced compounds. Its performance stands out for offering soft landings and moderate responsiveness, without seeking explosive sensations. It is cushioning oriented towards comfort and durability, providing fluid transitions and a stable feel over many miles.

The outsole uses the RoadTack Rubber compound, a rubber designed to improve grip and wear resistance. It features ample coverage that promotes stability and offers reliable traction on dry and wet asphalt, as well as contributing to the characteristic durability of the Ghost family.
