The Hoka Arahi 8 is a lightweight stability road running shoe that combines structured support with a relatively fluid and non-intrusive ride, designed for daily training where pronation control is desired without a rigid or overly corrective feel.

It is aimed at runners with mild to moderate pronation, as well as those who need additional support but don't want a heavy or very intrusive shoe. It performs very well over short and medium distances, and also for long runs at easy paces, making it a very versatile option for daily runs on asphalt and compact surfaces.

The upper has been redesigned to improve breathability and fit, with a lighter and more structured mesh that offers good support without being overly rigid. The fit is cleaner and somewhat more forgiving than previous versions, especially in the forefoot, which improves comfort on long runs.

The midsole uses compressed EVA with a softer feel than previous versions, maintaining a balance between cushioning and firmness. It incorporates the H-Frame system, which replaces the classic J-Frame, providing stability in a more progressive and less invasive way, guiding the stride without forcing it.

The outsole combines rubber in high-wear areas with exposed EVA sections to reduce weight. It offers good performance in dry conditions and adequate durability for daily training, although grip on wet surfaces is more limited compared to other models.
