The Santa Madre Reset Gel is an energy gel formulated for consumption during endurance exercise with the aim of providing quick energy, reducing fatigue, and promoting recovery during exertion. It comes in a semi-liquid format of 72g per unit, which facilitates its intake and digestion during physical activity.

Its formulation provides approximately 30g of carbohydrates from a combination of maltodextrin, fructose, and dextrose in a ratio of approximately 1:0.5, designed to improve intestinal absorption and allow for greater carbohydrate oxidation during prolonged exercise. This nutritional strategy increases glucose availability in the blood and delays the onset of fatigue associated with glycogen depletion.

In addition to energy, the gel includes approximately 300mg of polyphenols from tart cherry extract, compounds with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce oxidative stress and muscle damage induced by intense exercise. It also includes around 100mg of sodium, a key electrolyte for maintaining fluid balance, promoting carbohydrate absorption, and partially compensating for sweat losses.

The product provides approximately 150–155 kcal per unit and is formulated without gluten, without lactose, and with ingredients suitable for vegan diets. The standard version does not contain caffeine, allowing its use at different times of exertion or combining it with other caffeinated products as part of a nutritional strategy during competitions or long-duration training. It is primarily aimed at endurance sports such as running, cycling, trail running, or triathlon, where continuous energy supply is required to maintain performance.
