ASICS GEL-NIMBUS 26
The Asics Gel-Nimbus 26 continues to be updated with a lower profile, lighter weight, and a more streamlined design, maintaining its essence while adapting to the demands of runners.
This is an ideal shoe for any type of runner. Light- to medium-weight runners can use it on long runs to cover miles without sacrificing comfort or responsiveness. For heavier runners (over 80 kg), it will provide the cushioning, protection, and safety they need.
The soft, stretchy knit upper hugs the foot for superior comfort and excellent ventilation. The tongue and collar are also knit, providing soft, supportive support.
In the midsole, they continue to rely on FlyteFoam BLAST PLUS ECO foam, which offers lightweight, soft cushioning.
In this area, we also find PureGEL for light and soft cushioning, and the OrthoLite X-55 insole that increases comfort.
The heel is more protected in this new version, as the midsole rises higher on the heel counter to provide more support and stability for the foot.
The sole features an ASICSGRIP compound and AHAR PLUS rubber, a combination that provides excellent traction, greater softness, and great durability.
In addition, the lug is slightly deeper, improving grip and traction.
