BROOKS GLYCERIN 20

Brooks ' Glycerin series is always one of the most anticipated each season. This time, we're talking about its 20th edition , which continues to offer maximum cushioning so we can run comfortably, smoothly, and with maximum protection.
The most notable feature of the Glycerin 20 is the redesigned midsole. It features the new DNA LOFT v3 compound, a much softer version of DNA LOFT. It also incorporates a high percentage of injected nitrogen , which represents a significant change in the shoe's cushioning.

What does this reformulation of the midsole translate into?

First, let's take a look at the DNA LOFT v3 . Before we begin, it's worth noting that Brooks ' midsole technologies typically begin with "DNA" because they respond to the unique characteristics of your stride.
The DNA LOFT compound has been used by Brooks to increase the comfort of its models that incorporate this technology. The v3 version is the improved version , so it will increase comfort during your run. In fact, it's the softest and most comfortable cushion Brooks has ever developed.
The midsole also features nitrogen-injected EVA foam, forming a layer of microscopic bubbles that combine with the foam to provide greater lightness and comfort without compromising durability.
This nitrogen infusion process allows for precise smoothness control, avoiding sacrificing weight, durability, or responsiveness.

This mix makes the shoes much more responsive and makes transitions smoother and more comfortable to delay muscle fatigue.

What other changes do we find in Glycerin 20?

We're seeing that the top brands' priority this season is to reduce the weight of their long-distance training offerings to below 300g.

Although the Glycerin 19 was already below this weight (289g), Brooks has decided to continue lowering the weight and the new Glycerin 20 weighs 286g.

For the upper, we still see a design similar to that of the Glycerin 19. Brooks continues to rely on the technical Air Mesh , although it has been restyled by polishing and improving the finish . It is now lighter and more breathable, and also offers a more cushioned and secure fit that supports the foot without compromising comfort.

In this new version of Glycerin , Brooks uses Segmented Crash Pad technology that personalizes the stride to offer great cushioning and smooth transitions between the heel and forefoot.

It's a caterpillar-shaped midsole composed of independent impact absorbers integrated into a single unit. When you step, these absorbers work by personalizing your stride, providing the cushioning you need and a smoother transition that minimizes impact effort.

The sole is made of rubber , which gives it great durability and traction . So much so that you can train with them on any surface, regardless of whether it's wet, less compact than asphalt, or impassable.

The Glycerin 20 is ideal for virtually any runner of any weight, but especially for middle-to-heavy runners.

Due to its cushioning and comfort, it's the perfect model for long-distance running for runners who don't prioritize high-speed running.

You will be able to find the Glycerin 20 soon in our store , for both men and women .
