FUELCELL RC ELITE V2 by New Balance

This time we're going to look at New Balance 's proposal for the carbon plate shoe market: the FuelCell RC Elite v2 .

These are super shoes, as you can use them for both fast and slower paces, over short and long distances. They're also very agile without being too jittery, have good cushioning without being excessive, and are roomy yet offer good support.

In the midsole , we find the combination of FuelCell foam with the full-length carbon plate. This provides a good rebound, increasing the feeling of propulsion and more effective energy return . The main difference we see with its predecessor is that the FuelCell RC Elite v2 offers better cushioning , absorbing impacts better and improving safety .

For the upper , New Balance has opted to use a single-piece knit upper , giving the shoe greater lightness, breathability, support, and fit. It also features increased support in the heel area to prevent unnecessary movement.

On the sole , we find a very soft material that offers a very good feeling of adherence and increases resistance and durability compared to its predecessor.

One thing to note is the wider front, which helps with landing on the midfoot or metatarsal area. The FuelCell RC Elite v2 offers great stability and security for running at maximum speed.

The FuelCell RC Elite v2 is one of those shoes that, despite having carbon fiber, adapts to a large number of runners.

They're recommended for runners under 80kg who need a racing shoe. Ideal for medium to long distances.
