Asics GEL CUMULUS 23

We have to talk about one of the star series of ASICS : the Gel Cumulus 23 .

The Cumulus 23 hasn't undergone any radical changes compared to its predecessor, especially in terms of design and midsole. It maintains its essence as a daily training shoe, offering soft, lightweight, and comfortable cushioning.

One of the most obvious changes is that it features gender-specific cushioning to perfectly adapt to the runner's anatomy. This is achieved with the midsole foam, which compresses more efficiently.

This cushioning system incorporates a 3D Space construction on the upper part of the FlyteFoam midsole, which helps the foam increase its compression and flexibility without affecting stability or durability.

The Cumulus 23 offers great cushioning, promoting smooth, lightweight, and comfortable transitions.

The upper has been completely redesigned, including a 3D- printed engineered mesh that offers a custom fit for both male and female feet. This mesh also increases support in certain areas. Some fibers of the mesh have been left open to increase breathability.

The goal of these changes is to offer shoes with a softer ride throughout their entire lifecycle.

The drop remains at 10mm and the weight varies very little compared to its predecessor.

These shoes are ideal for neutral runners of average build who are new to running, and for more experienced runners who run long distances and want greater cushioning and comfort.

Therefore, the Cumulus 23 is recommended for both short and long distances (10K, half marathon or marathon).
