Diadora was founded in 1948 in Treviso, Italy, by Marcello Danieli, who started a workshop producing mountain boots and became one of the best manufacturers in the sector.
In the 1960s, they expanded their market to sportswear, particularly skiing. In the 1970s, they boosted their image by dressing leading athletes, such as former tennis players Bjorn Borg, Boris Becker, and Pat Cash, and former soccer players like Roberto Bataggio.
In the following years, it continued to expand into disciplines such as tennis, soccer, and athletics, expanding to 45 countries.
Other famous athletes who have worn his brand include Francesco Totti, Filipo Inzaghi, and Alejandro Valverde, among others.
Today, the brand remains very present in the world of sports.
