Brooks' Cascadia 16

Today we bring you the latest model of one of the oldest sagas in trail running: the Cascadia 16 from the Brooks brand.

This new model of neutral trail running shoes features outstanding midsole, outsole, and support. They also feature softer, more flexible, and more responsive cushioning, as they're made with DNA Loft V2 , the latest reformulation of the brand's flagship cushioning foam.

The first new feature we notice is the composition of the midsole , which, as mentioned above, incorporates DNA Loft V2 foam, which is 5% softer and 20% lighter. This foam increases the midsole thickness by 2 mm, allowing for greater energy return, flexibility, firmness, and stability, so your joints will suffer less, especially when descending quickly on technical terrain.

The last is more spacious than its predecessors, making it much more comfortable.

The upper has been completely redesigned, giving the shoe a much more modern look. The upper has been improved to make it more adaptable and flexible, without compromising protection.

These shoes offer greater protection in areas with rocks, branches, and other obstacles thanks to a more reinforced toe box .

The outsole features TrailTrack rubber and a multidirectional tread pattern to ensure good traction on uneven, slippery, or muddy terrain. The latter is now better eliminated thanks to the wider spacing of the lugs.

The presence of Ballistic Rock Shield technology provides improved terrain adaptability and greater flexibility, while maintaining excellent protection.

This is the ideal model for daily training or faster trail workouts . You can easily run from 10km to half marathons with them, and you can even use them for longer distances. They are recommended for people of medium to strong build.
