Description

HydraJelly is an energy gel with a gelatin texture and a high carbohydrate content (22.6g).

HydraJelly has been developed with the most demanding athletes, carefully formulated to achieve familiar flavors that are pleasant and easy to take, along with the innovative gelatin texture and 40g format that facilitate transport and ingestion.

Hydrajelly has a widely studied glucose-fructose ratio of 4:3, or 1:0.75, which presents a higher oxidation rate compared to solutions composed only of a monosaccharide source, resulting in faster gastric emptying, lower rates of intestinal discomfort and, therefore, greater substrate availability.

In addition, carbohydrates contribute to the recovery of normal muscle function (contraction) after high-intensity or long-duration physical exercise that leads to muscle fatigue and depletion of glycogen stored in skeletal muscles.*

Hydrajelly is available in 40g and 5 flavors, all of which contain sodium in varying amounts to promote electrolyte balance, a possible cause of muscle cramps and hyponatremia:

*The beneficial effect is obtained by consuming carbohydrates from all sources in a total intake of 4 g/kg of body weight, in doses taken within four to six hours of completing physical exercise. This statement is intended for adults who have performed high-intensity or long-duration physical exercise.
