The Akasha II by La Sportiva stands out above all for the fact that they have opted for softer materials in the midsole and interior.

In this new version, the brand has decided to enhance the versatility of these shoes, while reducing their weight considerably.

As we've mentioned, these are very versatile all-terrain shoes; you can use them on any type of terrain without any problems. They're ideal for long-distance trails, ultramarathons, and extended training sessions, with the added advantage that this new version's softer construction makes them much more comfortable.

The midfoot has been completely redesigned. This new design is inspired by the Bushido II, incorporating the external TPU skeleton and a geometric aesthetic on the sides.

The upper is much softer, more enveloping, and breathable. It doesn't use laces and has a sock-like construction to avoid compression points and achieve a more comfortable fit.

The sides are reinforced to increase the fit.

Its large volume design helps with prolonged use in endurance competitions.

It also features Dynamic ProTechTion active front reinforcements for greater protection and a structure that dynamically follows the movement of the foot without constricting.

The midsole features EVA foam with a Cushion Platform insole, giving these shoes greater cushioning without changing their height or drop.

It incorporates an Ortholite Hybrid insole made with recycled materials.

It features 4.5mm studs that are suitable for most terrains.

Additionally, in this area, we find a combination of the FriXion Red compound in the areas where we need more grip and FriXion Blue in the areas where there is more wear. This gives the shoes excellent grip and great durability.

Also equipped with the Trail Rocker system that promotes the natural movement of the external heel - internal toe of the foot when running.
